Hello everyone, my name is Scott and I’m from England.
My hometown, Bracknell, is in the county of Berkshire, which can be found in the south east of England.
It’s not too far from London, only about 40 minutes by car, and I often take day trips there when I’m back home.
I have been living and teaching in Japan for some time now.
I really enjoy teaching and am constantly looking to learn and grow more as a teacher.
I really feel as though I have found the perfect profession for me in education.
I hope I can pass this enthusiasm and passion to my students and look forward to helping my learners improve and achieve their goals.
Kingston, Ontario, Canada
Fishing, Reading, Guitar
Hello everyone, my name is Po and I was born in Kingston, Ontario, Canada.
Kingston is the original capital of Canada and can be found between Canada’s capital city; Ottawa, and Canada’s largest city, Toronto.
I have lived in Japan for a while now and feel at home in Fukuyama.
As a student of both the French and Japanese languages myself I understand the difficulties and roadblocks that come with learning a new language.
I really feel as though the style and techniques used at the YMCA to teach new languages are interesting and good for students.
Those techniques and the enthusiasm towards new languages has helped me grow as a teacher, in turning helping students grow in ability.

I've taught at the YMCA for more than 10 years, playing many different games, singing many kinds of songs, and doing other activities with the students.
To keep the classes interesting for my students, I'm always trying to learn new games, even modifying when necessary.
